From Forum Tauri to Beyazıt Square... For about 2500 years, Beyazit is Istanbuls most important culture & trade centre. At Antik Hotel Istanbul you stay near Beyazıt Square, in the heart of the Old Istanbul within walking distance from legendary Grand Bazaar, Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. During the construction of Antik Hotel Istanbul, a 1500 years old cistern that refers to a Late Roman-Early Byzantine period, has been discovered. The place restored as an arts & events centre and a restaurant.

All the floors of Antik Hotel Istanbul, which is standing on a Cistern dates back to 5th century, have a name and a colour. The floors are named after the cities historical periods as Byzantion, Constantinapolis, Konstantiniyye and Istanbul. The corridors decorated with the paintings reflecting the historical periods of their names.
